You can’t snowboard 24 hours a day but, fortunately there’s plenty else to do.

Jobs

A variety of jobs are available in resort including full time and part-time hours. This work often includes driving, bar work, waiting and cleaning. Often if you wish to work in a bar or restaurant it is advisable to at least know basic French to save on confusion. As many seasonnaires are looking for jobs working reasonable hours (allowing you plenty of time on the mountain), work gets snapped up fast so you need to be on the ball. It’s a good idea to phone around and look into jobs as early as possible.

During a season it’s not uncommon for people to find themselves low on money as the season progresses. Fortunately there is often work available on a casual basis in resort if you’re willing to look for it. This also includes driving, bar work, waiting, cleaning, babysitting and even dog walking.
