The Nantegue

Spend a season in the infamous Chalet Nantégué, an old converted farmhouse just a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Morzine's original seasonnaire accommodation is the perfect place to spend a season whether you're on your own or coming away with mates..

 

This will be the 8th winter for the Chalet Nantégué and things just keep getting better. This winters 'piece de resistance' will be the mini ramp constructed in the garden; from deep winter to sunny spring - the 'Backyard' will be in full use. Session the rails and wall ride in the snow and skate the mini ramp whilst having a barbeque in the spring - ahhh, bliss!!

The accommodation

The barThe Nantégué is a 3 storey home from home with large communal areas on the ground floor including dining room, bar, TV room, garage and garden.

There are 17 ensuite bedrooms from singles to quads, sleeping up to 36 people whether you want to book a room with mates a share a dorm room. The large range of room sizes means the chalet can cater for all budgets and prices start from as little as £1600 per person per season. Prics are dependent on room size and therefore subject to availability. In other words first come first served so get in there quick!

Beds are provided with pillows and duvets but guests will need to provide their own linen and towels.

The staff

Dug has been running the chalet since it's formation as a seasonnaire chalet and is a die hard snowboarder along with all other staff at the chalet - why else would you choose to come to the mountains..

The food

Xmas partyThe Nantegue is predominantly catered as there are minimal cooking facilities for guests. Breakfast and dinner are served everyday and there are options to pre pay for the whole season or pick 4 meals a week. With your accommodation, ski pass and food paid for upfront all you need to worry about for the rest of the season is your beer money. .A wise investment if you don't want to be lving off baguette by February!

Food can be booked on a day by day basis in house by checking the chalet menu and signing up at the beginning of the week and you can settle up with your bar tab every sunday.Check out some of the meal options below;

There are NO self-catering facilities available in the chalet but there is a pizza delivery company and plenty of restaurants and snack bars in town.

The bar

The bar

The chalet has its own bar serving beer, wine, cider, soft drinks and snacks such as crisps and chocolate bars. The prices are cheaper than the public bars in town, as its pretty expensive to drink all season long at €5 a pint.

The bar is a focal point of the chalet in the evenings but is normally locked up at 11.30pm for those that need a good nights sleep before heading out on first lifts.
